Faint lines on ICs not getting any darker

I wonder if there is anyone out there who could help calm me down (or just tell me that there's not much hope if that's the case).

I tested last Tuesday, got a wiff of a bfp. Tested with FMU Weds, definite, but faint on an IC. I have tested every day since and they have not got any darker yet. They are still very light but definitely there.

I have done a CB digi and it said Pregnant 1-2 (Weds) then tried again yesterday and it said the same (I think it should say 2-3 by now).

I have done a couple of Tesco cheapies - they are darker but not dark (yes I am totally obsessed wih POAS).

Has anyone had this where you don't get any dark lines and it has been OK? Or am I looking at a chemical? Please be honest.

Thank you.

I found the IC lines took an eternity to become dark when I was pregnant in january & my HCG was probably doubling faster than it should have been!

Perhaps you can ask a sympathetic GP for some betas to put your mind at rest?

Thos ICs don't get darker as you'd expect so stopping peeing on them you will only scare yourself. The CB digi isn't an exact science and only works on average HCG levels. I say if you get a positive stop testing and unless you have reason to test (suspect a problem etc) don't test again.

Big Congratulations to you ! x

My clearblue digi didn't fit in right with how many weeks i was, i don't trust them to be accurate. They did however detect HCG levels getting weaker before my m/c. If it stays the same i wouldn't worry.
I never got a dark on an IC, they are crap!

FRER all the way!!

Don't worry! Even when I KNOW my hCG was over 2,000, the lines on the ICs weren't that dark.
