Cheapies - What's the best time to test?

Hello!

I'm 10dpo today after an AI session with the donor. I'm a bit of a poas addict, so I did a cheapie test on 8dpo and today, both on FMU. Both were snow-white negative. But, from what I've read, these tests don't tend to register BFPs until after AF is due. What are your experiences?

Thanks in advance!

I got a BFP on a cheapie at 9 DPO. Although fainter than other tests, it was still there. Some women don't even test positive until days after a missing period though so don't lose hope quite yet!

Thanks everyone. I might try another cheapie tonight. I picked up some Tesco ones as well, but I'm going to save those for tomorrow morning. Crossing fingers!!
