Okay, i thought it would be useful for us to have a little guide on how to take a good photo of your peestick. After all, this will help with my (probably slightly odd) desire to look at the sticks you have weed on.

Firstly and most importantly, you don't need to hold the stick reeeeaaaaally close to the camera to take the picture. In fact, this is where most people go wrong. If the stick is too close the camera can't "see" it well enough to focus on it, so it focuses on something else instead in the background. Sound familiar?

To solve this simply move the stick further away from the camera and also place it on a plain background. I usually put mine on the windowsill as it's plain and there is more natural light there.

Then look to find your camera's "macro" (close up) button and turn that setting on. It looks like this:

Your camera might even have a light that flashes to tell you that it can't lock on to focus.When you're taking your image just keep pressing the shutter button part way to focus and keep moving the camera a fraction further away until it locks.

Then snap!

Now you have a non blurry picture and a nice plain background, but the peestick itself may be a little bit too small. Now you need to crop the image in your photo editor. Like so...

I am using Windows Photo Gallery on Vista, but they're pretty similar whatever the type you use i think.
