Thanks for posting these pics! I just found this forum googling taking apart digital tests! I'm 9dpo and hoping the slight second line means something!

thanks its very interesting!! I had a look inside mine as well and the 3+ was so dark!

I have had several faint positives so decided to do a clearblue digital done about 3 of them now.

I have opened them all up because it keeps saying not pregnant but i am sure i am! and they always have 3 lines! There is a dark line which looks like control line and then a blue faint line next to it but very thick and visible and then on the test strip underneath there is anoter faint blue line.

I am sure this must mean I am right?
How can the lines not mean anything?

I thought I'd share the "progression" of the strips inside my digital from a negative through positives.

This was at 7 and 8 dpo, both read "Not Pregnant". The 8dpo test took the FULL 3 minutes to decide though so I wonder if it wasn't close to being pregnant.

Then at 9dpo I got PREGNANT on the display! The line as you can see is still faint and not much brighter then the "Not Pregnant" line at 8dpo. The 10dpo line is much darker.

Here is inside the test at 12dpo (AM), display read "Pregnant" after about 25-30 seconds! Line is much brighter, thicker and more blue.

Here is 12dpo (PM). The line is pretty similar to earlier in the day. Result took 35 seconds to show up.

And last but not least, today at 13dpo (2nd morning urine) the result came up in about 25-30 seconds and read "Pregnant" and the line is veeeeeeeeeeery blue. This is my last digital and I don't think I'll buy anymore (but who knows!)

I just found it interesting and thought i'd share!

I took mine apart and mine matched urs at 8 dpo and I called the health department and they said that when u have two lines on a digital test stick one where the positive would be and the test finish like it is on a normal test then to regard it as pregnant and take the test in two weeks so hopefully i will see how it turns out

Thats the first digital test i took where it said it was not pregnant but took the strip out and it had two lines so i knew then that i must be pregnant and when i compared it to her test they match and also i have had my boobs constantly hurting and viens popping up on them

These pictures were taking right after the digital said not pregnant at the end of three minutes took the strip out and within the next two minutes it got darker and this is at 8DPO

Hi there, I'm aware this is old but thought I'd bump it up.
I took apart my CB digi after getting a negative this morning, I'm pretty certain I'm pregnant so I decided to do this. On the two strips, I have two lines on each!? They're not even super faint! I'm very confused. I know they shouldn't be opened but I just couldn't help myself.
I'm 12DPO and due on any day now!
