hun try not to worry too much, the opk isnt positive...they're just cruel sometimes and give u a line detecting something or other. Id say stick with what the temps told u and ur in the tww. Altho i did pee on one of my spare opk's for a friend who wanted to know if the opk's can act as hpt's and right enough...the opk was definitely positive...very dark test line...

best bet is the hpt in a few days...all the luck in the world m'luv!! xxxxxx

babe thats not a pos opk for it to be pos it has to be same darkness or darker, we all have LH in our systems at all times of the cycle so we all either get no line or faint lines, its when the LH hormone picks up that the opk will go pos, this could just be a dud one like ur saying or just ur LH hormone in your system naturally, if u get a true pos opk hunny then id say something going on but like girls say ur more likely to get a pos hpt for preg first then a pos opk
after well thats how it went with me done a hpt 9dpo got bfp then 11 dpo pos opks xxxx

Hi hun,

Hopefully I can help out a little. Basically my opks always look like yours and I think you can basically discard any line that isn't as dark as or darker than the control line. Soooo annoying. I haven't got on with mine at all.

I have found the following link very useful: http://www.peeonastick.com/opkhpt.html

It really simplifies things and does explain that in some circumstances you may get an earlier bfp if you are pg from an opk but if you read the link you'll see why ... good luck xxx

Those are negative OPK's according to how I understand they are to be read. There is always a presence of LH in urine, however, what an OPK does is detect the surge in this hormone, which happens right before ovulation. That's why the lines need to be the same color strength or the test line darker. I find it easier and much less stressful to use the digital tests even though they are more expensive. I thought my OPK's were crap too and wanted to "misread" the results in my favor when I started, but when I got a positive one, I realized there is a big difference in how they look compared to the negative results. I tested twice a day to get my surge and it lasted 2 days. GOOD LUCK!

on the other hand, my pos opks look very much like yours and never get any darker than that!! Youll only know if youve used them before so you know your base level line and your surge line.
