Well I've reached 27 weeks, and I'm heading over to the other side.

I posted this on the 3rd trimester, but I know this was a concern for many 2nd trimesters as well. So here you go.

Just came back from my glucose screening test. One suggestion, ask for a COLD bottle of the liquid. Goes down so much easier. Kinda tastes like no-name orange soda. Not that bad.
Only waited an hour after I drank it, then another tube of blood was drawn and I was free to go. Yeehaw!!! Cause at that point I was starving and dying for cup of coffee.

Had my prenatal today as well. Fundal height was above average for 27 weeks. Doctor was happy with that result. And baby's heartbeat was 140bpm. I questioned this, cause at our 3D Ultrasound on Tuesday, heartbeat was 130bpm. Doctor told me that it was completely normal for the heartrate to fluctuate. If it did not, then that would be a concern.

Also asked about the truth behind sleeping on your left, right or back. He could understand that yes, the left side was the best side, but if you found yourself sleeping in any other position, not to worry about it. You are not expected to tie yourself to the bed on your left side.

Had a really sore heel for a day, with no reason, which moved to the center of my foot the following day, and is still sore now. Being tested for magnesium and calcium deficient. So we'll see about that as well.

I asked about the embillico cord around the baby's neck in my 3D ultrasound, and he said it was loose, but to mention it to the OB because this is a delivery issue. Will have to remember that as well.

Well, hopefully I have eased a few other ladies minds with the questions I have asked at my prenatal. 13 weeks to go, I'm SOOOOOOOO excited!!!

Some say 27 weeks, some say 28 weeks. I'm taking the 27 weeks and going with it!!

Personally I always thought the third tri started in the 26th week.
