sinus issues!!!!

Hey all! Have any of you had severe sinus issues? For the past week I wake up at night to pee and when I get back in bed I am up for at least 2 hrs blowing my nose? My snot is clear and there is no pain but I AM DONE!!!!!!!!

Yes I get quite bad sinuses. I had it on Saturday really bad pain shooting up my face and my head felt stuffy. I had to go out that evening as well to meet up with some old friends, I had to cut the night short though as I felt so bad I ended up chucking all over the pavement

Needless to say though my headache cleared up shortly after that!

omg my nose is driving me crazy, one minute it is so blocked i can hardly breath the next it is streaming, either way i cant win, and whenever i blow my nose it bleeds ahhhhhhhhhhhhh its a nightmare!!!!

yes hun have been bunged up for the past 3~4 weeks only by night tho lol its sooooo annoying!! i found proping myself up more in pillows helped xxxx

Yep me too, one minute my nose is streaming the next blocked up, nights are the worst, totally blocked up, I use vapor rub before going to bed and this helps, sometimes have to reapply during the night. Take care

Have you guys tried any saline solutions? There are special devices where you can put the solution in, or you can use a more tradition Netti Pot, or just a cup. You put it in one nostril and it comes out the other, it sounds really bizzare but it works. The salt helps dissolves all the mucus, as well as keep your sinus's lubricated. My doctor was the one that actually introduced me to it. If the water is irritating your nose, you can also put in a bit of baking soda.

You basically just use a pinch of salt, in a cup of warmwater, I'm not exactly sure of the proportions but it should be on google somewhere. You also need to use either seasalt or deionized salt.

Oh, yes, I've had these issues for a while now, and it seems to be getting worse. Sometimes when I lay down to go to sleep, it feels like I am suffocating. That is a very unsettling feeling.
