Have your baby's movements changed the further along you get?

Morning

For the past few days I have noticed that my baby's movements have changed.

For example since 20 weeks I would feel big kicks and movements but since the weekend the movements have changed to be less 'big', kind of smaller tiny movements.

Has anyone else had this?

Has it got to do with how far you get and how much room the baby has?

I know I should not worry about movements at this stage, but its always weird when you are used to some kinds of movements and then it changes.

Thanks,

xxx

I had a panic over weekend but bubs was just being lazy. He used to keep me awake at night with his kicks but now he has chilled out at night.
i'm getting alot of pushes like bethyb and smaller kicks lower down.

I wouldn't worry so long as your still getting movements xox

Over Christmas and New Year I was getting really hard kicks in my left side that would wake me up whereas now I don't get woken up by kicks and when awake I feel kicks in the middle and they aren't anywhere near as hard I guess partly because my placenta is at the front and cushioning the kicks and also because he's got less room.

The kicks have gone from feeling like little flutters, to feeling like my belly is burping haha. That's the only way I can describe the feeling, internal tummy burps.

I went from feeling little popcorn popping type feeling to it full out jumping on my bladder (which is really uncomfortable). If it keeps doing that when it gets bigger, I have a feeling I'm going to be wetting myself.

Any movement is good movement or at least thats what my MW kept telling me in my 2nd trimester as i was worried that some days the movements were stronger than others, it really got to me!

Apparently as they still have enough room to turn in full cirlces etc at like 20-30 weeks legs and arms dont tend to stay in one place for long so just as you are getting used to its movements, it decides to turn over and have a dance about! naughty little people hehe!

Be assured though that in 3rd trimester they stay put a lot more especally at the end and the patterns are a lot easier to reconise. I remember panicing loads on like 2 daily basis' about babys movements lol! they like to keep us on our toes!!
