Consultant Appt Tomorrow Really Worried UPDATED!!!

So i have my consultant appt tomorrow and am really scared! Last night i looked on google to try and get info on my condition and have been in tears ever since, i am so worried that i will go tomorrow and get bad news, i feel even worse as haven't heard HB yet and my mw went away for 2 weeks, she called today to say she was back, but only for today so she can't see me for 2 weeks as she is away then fully booked! And my 20 week scan isn't for another 5 weeks, i am climbing the walls, just keep feeling like they are gonna say yes, your baby does only have a 55% chance of surving, and yes you do have a 15-25% chance of delivering your baby prematurley, and am just so scared and stressed. Hubby keeps telling me all will be fine, but am just so far past that being able to calm me down.

Sorry for the rant girls, just needed to get it off my chest before i burst xxx

Update: Thanks for all your kind words ladies, i had my appt today and saw the registrar not the consultant, and i can say with a great deal of accuracy that the reg is a c**k! When i told him that most mornings i am retaining a massive amount of urine leading to agonising stomach ache he told me this was normal in pregnancy, so why then is my mw worried? My mw thinks i have gestattional diabetes, he said all my symptoms were normal pregnancy symptoms. He did reassue me that my baby is not really at risk from my bicornuate uterus, but he does feel i shoud chill out and just because i have multiple mc's plus a still birth is no cause for me to be concerned! Ok then, i'll stop worrying. He refused to get me an anesthetic review as he refuses point blank to let me have another section even if my baby is breech, i actually want a natural delivery, but i know if my baby is breech they may need to do a section, and i want to get things sorted before hand as they messed up my previous spinal and i felt 90% of what they did and spent 3 days in shock from it, plus actually even if i get my natural delivery i may want an epidural. This bit is what gets me most, my mw asked if he could listen in for her so she didn't have to rush and squeeze me in for an appt, he REFUSED point blank, so i said fine, she said i should call the mat unit and they would do it for me, to which he said ''Don't you dare ring them and waste their time! There is no point in listening in now as you are so fat, it will only stress you out when we can't hear anything and anyway you have your scan in 5 weeks if your baby is dead we will pick it up then and can sort something from there'' Now i am fairly certain have been feeling movements and think my baby is ok, but what a dick! Also my mw in my last pregnancy found my sons HB at 14 weeks and she was as much use as a pair of rubber lips on a woodepecker, so am sure they could find it, but anyway, am now trying to transfer my care to another hospital, cos i am damn sure i am not having someone like that looking after me and my baby, all he was worried about was filling his face with cake and drinking coffee. But apparently it is at my consultants discretion as to whether i can move hospitals, surely i have a say?! The guy even shouted at me cos i didn't have the notes from my previous pregnancies, err hello the ward take them off you when you m/c or give birth and the copies are in my file if you look, when he found them he looked so hard at them that it felt like he was hoping they would tell him what to do or if he looked for long enough i would go away, his attitude was shit, another pregnant woman! So a bad day really and i still haven't heard my baby's HB, sorry again for the rant, thanks for reading and if you got this far you deserve a medal xxx

hunny my midwife told me never to google as half of it isnt based on medical facts, you have to rememeber the internet is a free domain and people can put anything they want on there.

please dont worry yourself over it, you dont know for certain what they will say.

Tell the consaultant you want to hear the HB tommorrow and eplain the situation about midwife, not sure if your at a surgery in Taunton but i am and the midwives are never in work or always fully booked xxx

xxxxx

I am at Burnham Med centre, but my mw is from the highbridge surgery as the burnham one is a bitch and i transferred from her last time so no way she's getting her mitts on this baby, but my new mw is just a bit dippy. Have to go to Bridgy for my appt, but consultant from Musgrove, just hoping he will listne in for me. Feeling worse cos hubby can't get time off so have to go alone. Thanks for your kind words chick, very much appreciated xxx
