Getting the heart beat

Hey

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get a copy of the heart beat from an ultrasound?? I've heard if you ask you can with your phone or whatever.
I ask because i had an appointment with a certain place and they keep canceling on me and all i want is my baby's heart beat so I'm pretty mad @ this place and wanna see if i can get it another way

You havent heard the heart beat because the ultrasound clinic keeps canceling?

Im not too sure if I know what you mean.. But if thats what you mean than...If you make an appointment with your doctor thats been looking after you and baby so far than they should automatically check for the heart beat.. Every time I go in for a prenatal thats the first thing they do is, check for the heart beat and I hear it every time..

No its a private clinic that keeps canceling on me and the only reason i was going there is because
1st I've never head my baby's heart beat yet and second they give you the recording of your baby's
heart beat so you can take it home i just wanted to see if there was another way for me to be able to get a recording of my baby's heart beat.

At my midwife appointment I recorded our LO's heart beat on my mobile phone as my DP couldn't make it to the appointment. Good luck

Thank you thats awesome!! I'll do that.
The thing with the doppler is i think its unhealthy for me.
If i didn't hear the heart beat i would freak out and be in emergency quit a bit ha ha
So i think I'll borrow my friends.

Thanks ladys
