eBay for baby clothes. Would you?

I've bought a load of maternity clothes from eBay and got a great deal on a Quinny (£175 for pushchair/maxi cosi car seat and Dreami carrycot, yay!) but I'm having a dilemma about whether or not to get baby clothes on there.

I think I will - I can put them in a hot wash ans they are so cheap I can always throw them away if I don't like the look of them - but wondered what anyone else feels about this?

i personally wouldnt buy any kind of clothes from ebay!!! i would always wonder where they have come from, plus i think if you go places like asda, tesco, matalan you can pick up new clothes for couple of pounds anyway!! (just my opinion)

I don't see that there's a problem with it so long as you don't buy just anything and then wash them on a hot wash when you get them but make sure you get some nice new stuff too

I would definitely buy baby clothes off ebay, everything is washable afterall and the rate babies grow they're not going to have much wear anyway. Anything to save pennies!

Can't see what the problem is with getting clothes from ebay for baby, they hardly wear them for long enough and most are practically brand new! Just give em a wash and they are fine.
I get alot of clothes from car boot sales ( even cheaper if you can brave the cold)

Charity shops, Carboot sales, Nct sales they are all great for clothes and equipment.
Also www.freecycle.org.uk is good.
