Too early to start buying?

Have any of you starting buying things for baby yet? I am 18 wks + 3 and am really starting to get tempted to buy some little babygrows and bits and pieces but not sure if it may be too early? I know it is the individual's choice but any opinions? Did you or do plan to start buying things around this time?

lol I've been buying stuff since i found out we are expecting.

We have:

a crib (with mattress and cover)
6 boxes of diapers
1 big box of wipes
12 bottles
bassinet
clothes of all sizes
books
socks

We find out the gender next week so i'm sure we will have more things soon. Family/friends are getting agitated that we are buying things, but we are enjoying it

Think I will buy a few bits today, as you say it makes it more real. It takes ages to sink in and actually really, truly feel pregnant doesn't it. But I think when I have bought a couple of baby vests and things it will definitely be reality!
