I know it might seem early

I know it might seem early... But im getting prepared.

I have already bought my silver cross (but it doesnt get delivered until november any way), most my nursery stuff and assembeled the cot we was bought (obviosuly not taken the mattress out of the packaging or put bedding on it they are all still in packaging)... Any one think im being... daft doing things this early. Just i work 40 hours per week and when im not at work im doing house work or sleeping. i feel like i have a load more things to do when i find out what sex it is... I also want to try and work right up until middle of november before starting my leave so id like to take it easy and get everything sorted before i feel like a house end. Any one think im being a little silly? Or was any one else like this? Trouble is... I like to be organised as much as possible. I hate rushing around... PS im 5 months and in reality i think they next 4 will fly

I'm nearly 4 half & I have a lot of stuff.

I have travel cot as it has a few extras:
http://www.kiddicare.com/invt/gcocon...=p rimary&N=0

digi steriliser
moses basket & stand
changing mat
nappy bin
swing
bouncer
bath thermometer
dummies
vests
mittens
dispenser things
baby sensor mat & monitors
nappies
philips sweet dreams
baby box & goodies

The last big buy is the pram then a digi thermometer ... small bits: baby bath support, blankets, bathing towels, clothes etc

Think its better to be organised than not

What pram did you get

Not good on the bank is it?

I've spent at least £700 and its all in one wee corner at the moment LOL

That pram looks more appealing every time I see it! I wanted the first wheels:

http://www.firstwheels.nl/en/

But as we don't drive & it doesn't have its own travel seat it's looking like a big fat no no!

Been looking at:

I like that. Its really different.

When i bought the silver cross i had my eye on it well since befoe i knew i was pregnant. I'd always said to chris i wanted it. I happened to be near mother care for some reason one day and noticed that if you bought it during the time if the promotion you got the car seat with it free, which was quite exciting so i rushed home to grab chris and nagged like a child. lol.

You should look out for promotions in mother care there pretty good when they have them. Saved me £90. Need to buy the accesory set now. The cosy toes the bag and parasol.. its only £59.99 for those three items i think. I thought that was pretty good. Chris's sister paid £70 just for a bag to go with her pram

Yeah i know but its convenient for me in a way if you know what i mean. I'm one of these who hates shopping. lol

Ive spent a fortune just because i cant be bothered to shop around. See its always on a saturday when i go when all the mad women are let in the shops and barge you out the way just because your younger. It dosent help i look alot younger than i am as it is... I just get funny looks. Shouldnt let it bother me but it annoys me when i get asked for ID for items such as paracetamol. lol

We go our pram when I was about 11 weeks.

We'd spotted it (on offer - got the carry/basket cot free), knew it was the one we wanted. We planned on going back before the offer went to get it and we got a call from OH's dad saying he had something for us.......we went round and there it was in his hallway! We'd mentioned it in passing that we'd seen on we liked and he went out & got it the next day! Bless....

We have this ....

We got that as I have a thing for Cream & Brown plus it had the car seat, Carry cot and the buggie/stroller for when he's a little bigger!

Did I mention I liked cream & brown?

After getting it...I've seen it everywhere....not as much as the high tri-pod quinny ones tho!

I think its good to be prepared early.....all we need to get are some cot sheets a cot matress and some baby towels!
His room is all done, furniture in and clothes bought, so when I finish for mat leave (a wk Tues ) I know there's only washing his clothes & sheets that need to be done. The rest of the time I can chill!
