Bedrest?

Hi, im new to the board and was just wondering if anyone else was on bedrest? i have been on strict bedrest for over 4 weeks now

I have marginal previa with bleeding and partial abruption. I have already been hospitalized twice!!! BOO! so just wondering if any other mommys were in the same situation.

A couple girls in second trimester are on bed rest. I am not on it for now
*knock on wood* but come later in this PG it may be coming at me. I hope not.

I too have a low lying placenta! I bled horrible after sex at about 4 weeks before I tested. I thought that it was AF and held off on testing. But, knew the signs of pregnancy and deeply felt I was and tested later, and +.

Now at about 12 weeks again. I bled for the same reason. I went to the ER/A&E and was given notice of pending miscarriage. The baby has held out and is growing just fine! I will have updates on the location of my placenta @ my next scan/US

The same thing happened to me. I went in at about 13 weeks when I first started bleeding. I was so sure I was miscarrying because of all the blood. But sure enough the baby was fine and had a strong heartbeat! The ER doctor told me I had a 50% chance of losing the baby and here we are a little over 4 weeks later and hes growing and is super healthy!!!!
This little bugger is hanging on and is a fighter! Good luck to you!

I was on strict bedrest for preterm labour. I then have been told I can be up for 5 hours a day......Today started full bedrest again but I feel preterm labour starting again!

That stinks! Well, mine is for a different reason, but still all the same. I hate having pregnancy problems and worrying about my little one. Im hoping to get off bedrest sometime within the next couple weeks. Congrats on your twins!!!

Tell me about it. even with the laptops i still beg my boyfriend to take me out for a car ride every once in a while. Just started that though. Ive finally gotten to where im going mad staying inside with no outside human contact. Never knew how much it would drive me crazy. Yes, i found out im having a boy!!!!

Im sooo excited!!!!

They never told me the odds of my miscarriage. But, I knew it was not good news when they would not show the ultrasound screen to me. But, as soon as I heard the baby was alive. I asked to look, they only let me take a small look. I could see hands and feet moving!
