had my 16 week m/w app. today and all is well with my little bump but i've been referred to othstetics because i'm getting a lot of pain in my hips and leg i'm not even sure what othstetics is?? anyone ever been or have an idea what they do??
I've never heard of Othstetics either. Definitely not obstetrics? - Obstetrics deals with childcare and the care of the mother. You often get Obstetrics/ Gynecology Depts.
thanks! but god knows why i'm going there lol the pains cos of my hip not my foot!! they said something about giving me a support belt to hold the weight of my bump i don't know guess i'll find out what there doing soon!
I have to go to the orthotics dept at hospital i think coz of my flat feet. Causes problems with knees and hips .. everything is in line on your body so is all affected by each other. I have to wear inserts in my shoes and am much better now.
