a gastric ulcer while being pregnant? I read they go away once you are pregnant but I get them only when I am pregnant. I had them through all of my pregnancies and I am about to starve. I swear to god I am tired of pain. Everything I eat hurts me so badly. Either straight away or just soon after I eat. It is like a large open cut or someone burning me with a car lighter on the inside of my stomache. It is just inder my left rib and I am sick of it. I am going to talk to my doctor about it again and tell her I am about to quit eating if she doesnt help me sooth it. I can't keep on living like this. I can't do nothing but lay down. I am fine when I wake up in the mornings but as soon as I drink or eat alllll hell breaks loose. I cant starve myself obviously because of the baby , but there has to be something I can do. I have no reflux or anything its just pain all day 24/7 under my rib after I eat. It burns and was told its an ulcer and I need to change my darn diet. Does anyone have an ulcer who can help me. I am clueless to meals :'( I need help I broke down crying yesterday at my moms. I read things with fiber hurt you too? OMG! :'( What in the world can we eat???

You know I can drink water and I can feel it pass my ulcer and burn even worse. Takes a few minutes for the pain to ease.. It's like putting water on a cut on youre hand :'(

Ohhh honey, so sorry to hear you're in so much pain at the moment. I really don't know what else to suggest other than tell your doctor about it again as you can't eat anything due to the pain. Can you take any antacids to neutralise the acids?

I took tuns and :'( they don't work at all. I was told that is bound to happen with a gastric ulcer :'( I can't live like this for 18 more weeks. *cries*

I'm better today thanks - both Harry and I been off sick with cold/flu thing the last couple days - we were in bed all of Monday! He has been very feverish the last few nights but I sent him back to school today as I think it would do him good and I'm about to leave to go collect him from his friend's house. The school would've phoned if he'd been too ill...

Yep I told my Ob and she just told me to change my diet. My family doctor wont be back till January and she does allt he refering to tests ect so I have to wait till my Jan appointment. So in the mean time I have to eat things that dont hurt

No body has info on what I can eat? :'( I looked online but really.. How can I come up with meals lol
