Hints and tips for those who want to get organised

I was just thinking that a thread of the silly things us previous mummies have learnt eg stuff that they dont tell u in the books would be useful?

A sticky/thread that gives tips eg what we should have done and the small things that u never think of

Heres a few i thought of that helped me....

prewash the newborn clothes in non bio(as i never and my son got a nasty rash)

Have the sterilser prewashed as its says in the instructions

Have a couple of premade cartons of milks in case of emergys(if ur not bfing) as you just pour them in and they are ready

Have different sizes of teats in ege newborn, slow flow, medium, fast and vari flow

Have a stockpile of wipes as i needed them for ages (still use them on my son) . Nappies im not too sure i would buy many as u dont know how long they will stay in each size

Have plently of bibs eg i changed my los 10-20 times a day, the same was fir the newborn sleepsuits and vests.

Any others? Ive probably forgot a lot so any1 else put what they think

when ur baby needs a feed, change him or her 1st then feed as there less movemeny after the feed and less chance of being sick. I was taught that by the midwifes last time. Obviously it doesnt always work but i think it was good advice
