Bamboo Nappies..........Your thoughts?

What does everyone think of these?

I am planning to use reusable nappies, but am thinking might use bamboo cloth as apposed to cotton.

I'm guessing it's another product of the whole "Go Green" fad.

It takes about 450 years for a normal nappy/diaper to biodegrade in landfill - not good. There are now more biodegradable nappies available - they still take 7 years to break down though. I'm going for reusables all the way and have thought of bamboo ones too. Maybe I'll ask Hansie too!!

I used tots bots bamboo nappies with my son ( aswell as cotton bambino mio ones) and we much preferred the bamboo ones, they were much softer and seemed to keep in more wee! They are really cute too xx

i have no idea hun but i would liek to no apart from the whole "greener" thing why people like them ??

i never saw the point in them washing nappys and drying them and when your out or someone has baby for the night just seems like a lot more work to be honest

but im open to ideas if someone has some reasons other than "greener" for a reason lol

I haven't heard of bamboo nappies before, but I do have a bamboo bed/mattress (apparently there are bamboo fibers in it!) and OHH BOY its heaven to sleep on!!! So I would think the nappies would be comfy! Although..bad comparison on my part lol
