Made me feel sick (smoking) *sensitive*

Just seen a packet of fags lying around in a guests room while making up an extra bed.

It was a picture of a premature baby on a breathing machine. It had a warning message underneath about the dangers of smoking while pregnant.

It made me feel physically sick.

I love my baby so much already and im SO SO glad i managed to kick the habit finally.
At 7 weeks pregnant i went down from 10 a day to 1 a week and then at 13 weeks i kicked the habit all together. Best decision of my life.

I honestly felt like crying

(i dont mean to offend anyone)

It's great that you quit smoking. I quit the week after I found out I was preggie. They started making me so sick I couldn't stand them and threw 1/2 a pack out the window. Now I can NOT stand the smell of them.

Congrats on quiting.. It is a horrible habit and I quit with both my boys and then started again once they were born (dont know why) this time at beginning of yr when we were expecting, I gave up again as it made me physically ill (and the morning sickness helped) and then we mc 8 weeks later.. I wanted to start again due to emotional issues (thinking it was my fault i lost the baby etc) and DH stood behind me and didnt let me give up to the temptation just to escape that... and now when we found out we were expecting again back in Sep it was the greatest feeling not having to go through thte tourcher again.. But it sstill makees me sick when I smell smokes... especially when you have to walk past a smoking area near a shopping complex or go to the mall or markets as some people just dont care...

Congrats on kicking the habit again and I hope you have a wonderful assel free pregnancy...

Congrats on quitting! I imagine it must be very hard. Which is why I never started at all!
