Antenatal Classes

So I just got booked in to my new hospital after moving and got info about the classes. But the relaxation and breathing ones, the ones I am most interested in and which hubby would want to come to most are on a Friday afternoon, which means hubby having to take time off work to get to the class!

Why do they do that?! All the other classes have an evening option, but not that one. Grr.

Anyone else found similar problems? When are you starting your classes? Are you booked on them already?

I actually justed finished my last class last night,..DH and I got a cute little cerificate for our baby book. I chose to take classes early on as we have pretty nasty winters here and we live about 25 mins. away from the hospital and don't want to have to worry about traveling in the bad weather. I found theclasses very helpful..especially the tour of the birthing rooms and breathing and relaxation techniques. Hope you enjoy your classes!

For some reason the classes in my area have stopped the one's whe OH comes with you to every class, my OH is really disappointed and I dont understand fully why they have stopped them.

I have opted for Pregnancy Yoga, which teaches relaxation techniques and breathing and jelps throughout the pregnancy as well as with the birth... at least OH can come to 2 classes.

Starting in January.
