Weeing a lot bit worried

Hi

I am 22 weeks pregnant and over the last couple of days especially in the evening I have had the need to pee a lot, even though when I go just a trickle comes out.
Also, and sorry if this is tmi but the other night I felt like something was stuck up in the area down below, you know like sometimes you can feel a tampon in there. I took a look and it was quite red but too be honest I have no idea what the hell I am supposed to see. The other thing is it sometimes feels as though the baby is leaning on that area, is all this normal?
I am so worried that I might have a urine infection, but then I think could the baby be lying on my bladder. Any advice would be great as I am just so worried, I just want to get to my 24 week goal and I can relax a bit more.

Not sure whether its an infection or not, but I too am constantly needing the loo, even though when I get there its only a couple of drips!! I think this is because LO is quite heavy on our bladders at the moment.

Haven't experienced the other bit you mentioned, I have to say! As always though, if you are worried, speak to your midwife and she will hopefully put your mind at rest! xx

hi hun well i kinda have the same problem as i go to toilet often and feel like im dying to go and when i get there hardly nothing comes out!! i also get the feeling that my baby is somewhere down below as sometimes i can feel her through my private parts, if that makes any sense, like she is going to come out lol im sure all this is normal (i hope) and hopefully someone will have an answer xx

Hey,

I am 21 wks and up until last week when I had my scan I needed the toilet ALL the time, I must of been going every half hour !

The sonographer told me it was probably because the babys head was on my bladder and ever since scan its not been as bad, I probably only go once every hour now lol.

If you are really worried do a water sample with your gp x
