Blocked nose argghhh!!!

Anyone struggling with this!! I've constantly got a blocked, stuffy nose. I know it's down to pregnancy. It's just so dryy!!! It gets worse at nightime when sleeping. I can hardley breathe....i have to breathe through my mouth only, which also dries up!!!i'm really struggling to sleep at night. Constatntly sipping water to keep mouth moisturised.
I've tried:
Inhalation of olbas oil, in water and on pillow
Vaselin around and in nose
breathe right strips (expensive)
Nothing works...I can't try decongestant nasal sprays as there is no evidence to suggest if it is harmful or not!!! GP and pharmacist said NO!! Please help i'm really struggling.. I also work 4 days a week and not sleeping well.

im 3rd with you there... I have been suffering blocked nose of a night time only for the past 10 weeks or so.... I thought mine was just to do with sleeping in the air conditioning of a night time as it is soo ht and humid here if its not on, i dont sleep...
Mine is not bothering me as much as it is you as I can sleep during the night, but find I wake up about 2 times to have a warm bath and clear it or I cant breath through my nose...

have you tried the Vicks nose inhalers? I got mine from the pharmacy/drug store for about $3.00 and it is awesome... safe to use in pregnancy (as im using it) and it is the same as putting vicks on your chest when you have a cold or flu but it is in a tube nose inhaler... Check this website i found out...

http://www.vicks.com/vapo-family

It is called the vapor inhaler...

Hope this helps!!

i have allergies, and i think it's partially because i'm not taking meds for them anymore since being pregnant, so i find i'm trying to blow my nose an awful lot. not sure what will work for you..

as for the dryness at night, you could try a humidifier, and until you get one, if you put a big bowl of water in your bedroom while you sleep, the water will be absorbed into the air which should help a bit as well.

Im with you 2,its driving me crazy.someone sugguested burning lavender oil in your bedroom for an hour before you go 2 bed and it really works!its supposed to clear the air or something but it helps me.and if you have animals like me and have suddenly become allergic to them, there is a spray that you can get online for the house that works, il find the bottle and let you know the name, if you need it.
