family members that wanna do that little bit tooooo much!!! i know im a probably just being picky and hormonal lol but i get really annoyed when family members give you some baby stuff that they have got (which of course is really n ice of them) and they then go on to say " i reccommend you get this one bcos its been said that its much better" im like GRRRRRRRR and boiling up inside but i do always wonder if i would get this stressed if i wasnt pregnant!!! the thing is i think to myself yes thank you very much but i have already chosen what one im getting and it ISNT that one!!!! it just really iratates me like they know better. i just start feeling more and more angry as people start to take over and buy things and all i wanna do is choose what MY baby will have. sorry girls rant over xxx

Awww hun, luckily my family are letting me do tyhe majority and just buying me huge boxs of baby wipes etc but i really feel for you as iv got a feeling that soon the OH's mum will start buying tons after christmas. Im grateful but its our first baby and its nice for the parents to actually choose something lol! xxxx

DH's mum has been a bit like that but she learnt a long time ago even when im not hormonal I will put her in her place. if DH dosent get there 1st. my mum just gave us £300 and told us to buy a pram. hey ho as long as she saw pics she was happy.

my mum is driving me mad, i told her ages ago what she could get us and she didnt want to and now iv got the majority of the stuff she is moaning as there is nothing left for her to buy!! i just told her i wasnt going to wait for it all i want to be prepared in case baby does a naughty and comes early lol!!

my in-laws just said what do u want £500 limit and we chose and they bought, simple!

but my mum just drives me mad with text messages, every day - how are you? anything about baby and she is telling me to write down movements - i am. record your weight gain week by week - i am. take a picture of your belly each week - i am. argh!!!

i think its more my hormones with her texts but she is just telling me all the time!! you know its going to be really hard work? are you scared yet? arrrrrrgh!!
