Im so impatient....

My 20 week scan is in 16 days and yes I have been counting down since 45 days....
Now im 16w and 5 days today and really being impatient I feel like going out and getting a private scan earlier just to find out.... Isnt that crazy? I cant even wait the 16 days? What should i do? Should I just go get the private scan? But When can you actually accurately tell the gender of bubs, im so excited its crazy!

im the same, i found a place that will do it from 16 weeks here, but its really not that long till 20 weeks.
Im gonna see what mw says on weds about 20 week scan and when we get paid on fri see if we can pull together some pennies to get one

I was like this..
I counted the days from my 12 weeks scan down to my 20week....which i actually didnt end uo having untill 23+1!
I was gonna pay 90quid to find out early...but then every1 talked me out of it telling me it was a waste of money.
To be honest hun, you have only got 16days..it will be here before you no it! xxx

I'm going through the same thing. Only my scan is in 7 days!!

But, I had a private scan booked for the 19th (only 2 days)

I canceled it so I could save 80 bucks but now, I'm kicking myself in the butt for doing so.

The earliest the private scan could be was 17 weeks but my dr is offering it to me at 18 wks!! I'm excited and I can't wait!!!! Good luck and I hope it flies by for you!!!

I found the best thing to do was to NOT count down until I was like 7 days away from it, otherwise it would take SOOOO long to get too! But you may as well wait, your only 16 days away, and that way you wont have to spend the $$!

I see where everyone is coming from!
Then I had this other thought about 20 minutes ago, If i had two scans i could be doublely sure of the gender!

See what my brain is doing to me////

ur right i shouldnt have started counting down till 7 days...

Im in limbo land, on one hand is my sensible side on the other is my impatient side....

i hear you on the wait being horrible...
my anatomy scan is on the 28th. 10 sleeps!!!!

and i've been counting down since the day I found out about it..
it's hard not to get excited to be able to see LO again!
