Well i bit the bullet and ........

Went and bought some maternaty clothes! I never wore them when pregnant with my son as i just don't like the look of them. They look so frumpy and eeewwwww to me. But i tried some trousers on as i need some for work and they are sooooooo comfy and just look like normal clothes once there on! I can't beleive i had this silly phobia of mat clothes ha ha I got a pair of black work trousers for £10 and a pair of jeans for £15 from peacocks and a grey hoodie for £14 from dorothy perkins. Oh and i got this really cute bed time warmer from dorothy perkins too, its a cuddly elephant with an oat bag in that u put in the microwave to warm up. So cute and nice on my poorly leg (i think i have a trapped nerve) it was only £6 so i thought i would treat myself Bit of a pointless thread but i thought i'd share

Thats great to hear hun! I'm fast running out of trousers that fit me and am forever lounging around in elasticated bottoms both at work and at home! I did buy a lovely baggy pair of pyjamas yesterday though with some leftover birthday vouchers - I normally hate pyjamas as they're too restricting (even when not preggers) but I got a much bigger pair and they're soooooo comfy!

I bought some baby clothes at the weekend the babygros are soooo tiny and the sleepsuits soooooo cute and I've been so organised as they're already washed and almost dry!

Peacocks do maternity clothes?I need to go!
I have got a few bits but need some more but don't want to pay loads for things I won't be in long.

I can't believe some prices for maternity clothes!
I have been going to New Look ,its reasonable and fashionable .

i was quite impressed with peacocks jeans. They were a bit short but were generous on the hemming so I let them down, and only 16 quid too. Mothercare, for some reason, seem to think because I am pregnant I have turned into an old lady.a fat old lady. They only seemed to have those pale blue fogey jeans in big sizes- for 30 quid.

So I know what you mean about maternity wear though there is nice stuff out there! I can still fit into my regular jeans so I am in denial
