I'm over weight. Will I get a baby bump

Hi,

I'm over weight, however i'm not massive- huge; more porky curvy and a little more of the porky. Before I got preg, I was a size 18. I'm now 15 weeks and a size 20 but my belly just looks fat.

I'm desperate for a clear baby bump as it's the most beautiful thing in the world, and it's something I've looked forward to most.

I have a spare tyre on the lower part of my tummy. Will this iron out in to one big bump?

I know, I know, there's a million and one other things I sholuld be worrying about and I am, but there's no web site to answer this.

Has any one else been in the same situation, or am I the only pregnant lardy?

I'm sure you will show...it might just take a bit longer to show than on a super skinny lady.

I was size 18 last pregancy and only had a small bump right near the end but everyone is different x

I had a baby bump, but it showed itself more towards the end.

I was an 18 when I got pregnant, but it was evenly distributed and I still had a bit of a waist shape left. It has become quite obvious that I've got a bump along with my excess... well, ME! I'm 20wks today, and this is my second so that may make a difference. It isn't as round, 'bump' shaped as some of the other pregnant ladies I see about town, but I know it is my bump growing because just before we found out I'd had my picture taking in the park with the dog, and I certainly don't look the same now, despite only weighing about 7lbs more now than I did then! I do get bump envy though... women with those lovely round bumps kinda make me wish mine was the same, but then I'm happy with whatever it looks like, so long as the baby inside is doing well.

I am the same size and have a definite bump!! It will come, just wait a few more weeks!!

I'm a chunky one and I have a bump for sure. People notice it when I'm out and about (although some are afraid to ask in case i'm just fat lol)
