silly question ...but

is the babys heartbeat slower when they are asleep???

sometimes when i put the doppler on if he has been quiet for a couple of hours his heart seems pretty slow, then all of a sudden he boots the doppler and his heartrate rises

has anyone else ever noticed this???

xxxxxxxx

I think so but not 100% i read in my doppler book it changes 30 min after mother wakes up 30 minutes after lunch and 30 minutes before bed. (how it knows I'm not sure, lol.

So I'm guessing it wld change a little bit when it's sleeping.

Mine changes a bit too. MW measured it as 140, and I get anything between 130-145

Yeah it does change and i think it does get abit slower when baby is resting or sleeping.
When i have been monitored at the hospital the heart beat suddenly gets really fast when baby has a good wriggle then goes down again when baby goes quite!
