I'm Currently Feeling:

Need a little advice from mummy's!

What stage did you feel bump move?

With Rebecca it was 20+ weeks.

Now with Lucy Lump I have started feeling little movement but it is sporadic and not at all frequent. It seems to be really low down in the abdominal area, is that normal?

I should remember all this with Rebecca but I cant!

I dunno if it applies to me or not as Im techincally a mum-2-be and not a 'mummy', but with me, I felt movement at 15 weeks and Im a first time mother, which is apparently unusual.
I think mine is due to my small frame which is why I have been so fortunate.
I could only feel the movement at 15 weeks if I really pressed for it; it then started to get stronger on its own at around 17+ weeks.
Baby only kicks properly if Im either wearing jeans/skirt that are too tight or if I put my hand where he is laying- other than that, the movements im feeling at the moment feel like pops here and there, and when he changes position (say if he has his back facing the front of my stomache), I can see him laying in my tummy. My uterus goes all bent out of shape. When he moves position, it feels like waves are going through my tummy.
Dunno if that helps at all.
My DR also said that I wouldnt, or shouldnt (being a first timer) be feeling anything til 20+ weeks, but I told her straight that that theory was clearly a load of crap.

I had bubbling and popping sensations from 16 weeks with Ky, but didn't get anything really prounounced until I was 19 weeks.

This time I've felt the bubbling and popping from about 15 weeks, but it was quite prounounced from between 16 and 17 weeks. Hubby can already feel the tiny kicks with his hand, which we couldn't do with Ky until much later.

Ditto. Isn't the reactions of the fathers cute? They seem to be amazed by it lol.
David looks overwhelmed when our boy boots him hard in the hand. It's lovely.
I don't think he was that impressed by our scan though, dunno why... I think it was the shock of hearing 'say hi to your beautiful son'..... I was all like 'bollocks, are ya sure' lol. But we love him to bits already.

I was about 21+ weeks both times but the midwife said that the baby was very low and I have a large pelvis so it would take longer to feel them. Typically you do feel movements sooner with second and subsiquent babies, as your muscles are more relaxed, plus I guess you know what your looking for more second time round.
