I'm Currently Feeling:  | Really Bad News
My ultrasound was not what I had dreamed of. I have been so positive throughout this pregnancy--but I knew something was wrong when the tech got the dr in the end.
I have low amniotic fluid. Which can mean so many things. It could mean that I have leaked some out..there is osmething wrong with placenta, there is something wrong with the kidneys, or there is a chromosal disorder. Low amniotic fluid may cause physical malformations because there is no room to grow or cause the lungs to not develop right because they need the fluid.
Or everything can be alright.
I have another ultrasound in a week. I'm drinking tons of water in the meantime.
They were able to tell that she was a girl. I am praying so hard that she is ok. I've been really upset and cried for hours after the ultrasound. I never thought this could happen to me. |
