Time off work...? Updated...

Hi ladies,
Sorry to be so nosey...
Apart from your midwife appointments, scans etc. have any of you had any time off work sick (for any pregnancy related ailment) so far?
If so, how many days in total? xxx

When I was waiting to test I got a really awful cold due to immune system shutting down. I had two days off then. I've had two other one day instances since then, in a different temp assignment.

We all handle things differently hun. I've actually had more time off than the sick days, I've used a fair few days of holiday so I could have long weekends, in part to rest. I think I've worked 4-day weeks well over half the weeks since I got pregnant!

No need to say sorry! It's reassuring to know you're not on your own going through stuff like this, rant away!
Last week my midwife suggested signing me off for a week as I'm still getting m/s and the last few weeks I've had really bad insomnia. I declined the offer as I didn't want to take time off but she said if it didn't improve to go back. It hasn't got any better and I've got a nightmare week coming up next week. I'm not sure if I should take up the sick note offer?

I had to quit my job. That was 2 months ago. There was just no way to accommodate my needs, plus my District manager is a cow.
