Sorry i'm not sure either. If u just used it once though i doubt it. Mention it at your next check up and i'm sure the mw will reassure you.

no, ur only supposed to take normal paracetomol and its said only if really neccessary. I think Aspirin and Ibruprofen thin your blood which is why they aren't recommended.

you are not supposed to, but that is because they haven't done trials to see if it causes problems rather than it definitely does. Antihistamines in creams will get into your bloodstream though creams, but I'm sure the amounts are very small, plus you were in your second tri and would have had a placenta to help filter things out, so I can't see it being that risky.

But, calamine for bite from now on!

i had bad mozzy bites when i was on holiday last week and i went to chemist there and he said no antihistmaines and gave me aloe vera gel

have u felt the baby move yet or have a doppler or something? they would be really reassuring that everythings fine but if u havent got either i would check with ur midwife just to be sure cos chemist seemed pretty adamant i wasnt allowed it and they are really good in turkey apparently

hope everything is ok hun

x

def ask at your next appointment but try not to worry too much as its only one time in your pregnancy that you have done this and not throughout it.

Katie - it's recommended you don't take ibuprofen at all in pregnancy but ask anyone who has been pregnant and they'll tell you about the things they've done before you even find out. One of my friends was drinking and smoking and taking medication etc before she found out she was 6 months preggers and her daughter is now 2 and perfectly fine.
