I'm Currently Feeling: | I've never been told to count any movements-just to make sure I get regular movements. Think like Ema said it's more for when they have less room to move about. You'll know best whats 'normal' for you baby. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I Think They Ask You To Keep An Eye On Your Babies Movements From Week 36. Or Atleast It Said It Somewhere If Babies Moving About Then He/She`s Fine. If You Notice There`s Very Little Movement, Then Obviously You`d Contact Your Midwife. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Different practitioners have different standards for counting. One of the easiest, starting at 28 weeks (suggested by my gynecologist) is to count 10 movements in a two hour period every 24 hours. So that is one 10 movement episode per day. However, this is not a hard and fast rule. Any movement, from a minor wiggle to a major kick can be counted though the hiccups are not normally counted. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | the mw told me 10 seperate movements in any 12 hour period (apart from hiccups) so if LO kicks 3 times in the space of 1 minute it's still counted as 3 seperate movements - and its any kind of movement you feel. |

| My MW hates all the movement counting. She says that you will get used to when you baby moves and when s/he is quiet. She suggests contacting your midwife if there is a definate change in your baby's pattern.
my LO's movements are definatley becoming less and they are more wriggles than kicks. Have had a foot in my ribs all day though little bu***er! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ye we're not counting. Just as long as OH feels something every 12 hours or so we are not too worried. Boo tends to be really quiet for ages and will then just go nuts solidly for an hour or so. |
