LADYBUG!!!!!
Everyone in the world seemed to think boy so I am delighted (I secretly hoped for a little girl!) but shocked that she is a girl!
Was in a terrible stress yesterday morning, terrified of the scan (after mc in March I still couldn't feel totally positive til I saw everything was fine) but got there and it was a lovely male doctor and friendly midwife type nurse who explained that he would be quiet for a while and then I could see Bug and ask questions. So he did all the measurements adn checks and I was terrified but could see hubby half grinning looking at the screen, the doctor showed me the screen and pointed out the perfect spine, perfect brain, heart and all the bits and then turned it back and did some more checks turned it back to me and said "Your baby is perfect!" So I started to cry!
Then he said any questions and hubby piped up "Can you see it's willy?" The doctor laughed and said "No, but here are the legs, and these 3 little lines suggest it is a girl!" And hubby started to cry!
Went shopping last night and bought lots of pink stuff (I am not a pink person - but it was my first girly shopping spree so was drawn to the pink!) and then bought Bugs "Snug as a Bug" nursery stuff (its so gorgeous!)
I am so happy!  |
