I have had 2 occassions of heaving bleedin and ended up at the hosp for a scan and thankfully all was ok. In between I have had light spotting on and off. the times that the bleeding is iccurring is it when you would have usually had your period or is it after any strenuous exercise or Intercourse?? mayeb there is no pattern for it, just trying to find an explanation for it for you

I would have been due my period last tuesday when i was 16 weeks.
I wish i had a reason for it starting!!

I wish i'd been scanned, they said that if they find a heart beat and it sounds ok then there is no point in scanning because they know baby is ok! It would make me feel sooo much better if they had though!

Thanks for your reply!!

Sounds so scary hun xXx
I would have thought they would have scanned you though as painless bleeding can be a sign of a placental problem. I had a heavy painless bleed with my last preg and was found to have a low lying placenta, the blood was comming from it.
I really hope its nothing serious and stops soon hun xXx
