Angelsounds Doppler

Got my doppler yesterday and was able to find bubs heartbeat the first time which was amazing. Later on I thought I would try and record it onto the computer as it says on the box you can do. Anyone know how to do that?? No instructions with it so didnt really know how to go about it.

Hello!

I bought a doppler last week and had the same problem, the way I found it best was to record it through windows.

so try this.

Go to your start menu
Client all programs
accessories
entertainment
sound recorder.

Then all you need to do is plug in your doppler and when you find little ones heart beat click the red record button.

Hope it works for you!

I'm confused about dopplers - spoke to my midwife about them yeterday and she really advised me against getting one, said it was the bane of midwives lives. Why would this be? Has anyone else's midwife told them this?

This will be because sometimes its harder to find the heartbeat and u might not be able to find it and they get alot of panic struck mums ringing up worried about their babies when its fine. Ah well its not up to them if ppl want a doppler and they're there to help with questions. Think thats probably why

Thats what my doc said, that it can cause undue worries.

I think mine's saved me loads of worry, it's so reassuring to plug it in and listen to the heartbeat especially when he hasn't been very active. Thanks for the instructions - will try that later, I've only managed to do it by recording it on my phone then bluetoothing it over so far. Your way sounds loads better babyyildiz - and welcome to b&b! x

Good luck on recording .... I honestly rate dopplers .. I love mine , i find it reasurring . I told myself when i first got one with my first ever pregnancy (2005) That if i cannot find the heartbeat not to panick but to take a walk or drink or something and go back to it , Allways does the trick .
My midwife told me Midwifes are not suppose to be seen endorising dopplers unless there there own , And allot of panick has arisen from them , If you remember to not panick i say enjoy them go ahead . xx .
