I'm Currently Feeling:  | Had My 20 (22 but who's counting) week check up...
Doctor says that my little boy is doing very well. He is on par with all of his measurements, and my ultrasounds from last week looked perfect.
She said perfect like 4 times in the 15 minutes i was with her....  could be bias but he is!!!   When she listened to his heart beat all she had to do was set her doppler on my belly and his HB was right there and she said "Cooperative baby!!"
Yay! And my uterus was measuring perfect, I guess the rule of thumb is that your uterus should be as long as your are weeks along...I am 22 (going on 23) weeks and my uterus measured 23 cm.
So far so good!!
Oh yes and as for kicks, because some of us have been paranoid when we do not get any action for a couple of days. She said that at this point (22 weeks-ish) kicks should still be few and far between and then progressively start getting more and more frequent as I go. The little man still is small enough to have a lot of fluid in between him and my tummy. That made me happy and now I am not as worried.  |
