I'm Currently Feeling:  | 20 week scan today *scared* Update page 3
I have my 20 week scan today and I am shitting it, scuse the language! I had a brother with spinabifida, who didn't make it after 17 days of fighting  so it is always playing on my mind. Even though at my gender scan she said the spine and brain looked fine but the 20 week will be more detailed, I am still mega worried. I know it isn't genetic but still...
Also I am afraid to ask her to confirm the sex lol. We were told girl, but had heard stories of them getting it wrong, now I wouldn't mind if it were a boy but... I have sooo many girlie items now lol he may get confused 
Then there is all the other checks they do... woooaaahhh I feel sick

Your little GIRL will be fine......these achines are so advance these days that if something looked out of the ordinary at 12 weeks, you would have been told.
I know it's easy to say relax and enjoy, but please try!
My bro has an extremely bad cleft lip and palate, to the extent that he was born with no nose, tonsils and has only ever had 4 of his own teeth and they told me i had the same chance of him as having a child with a cleft and Felicity is A ok!!!!!!!
I asked the sonographer about the cleft 1st and she looked first to put my mind at rest. Please ask your's to do this and text me the moment you get out!!!!

and ask the gender again to stop you worrying for next few months.
lie back and enjoy the moment and let your little one show off on screen lol
its natural to worry its what mummys and daddys are here to do your normal
