I'm Currently Feeling: | its naughty when family do this my oh kept callling my bump a he, especially my fil he did, we he still does my head in, he kept saying when we went round in a stupid squeaky voice, "does my little grandson want a little drinky poo's or chocolate freddo" i used to walk off with a frown lol, my sil stepped in though to say stop saying that cos it might be a girl. and he calmed down a little bit.
it was a boy anyway but if it was a girl would they have been disapointed, i dunno.
i'm sure they will be chuffed whatever the gender. tis naughty to voice preference cos its obviously bugged you. just like it would anyone

I'm Currently Feeling: | HOn don't feel bad, as previously said it is out of your control. Once LO is here it will all go out of the window and they will be proud of you for the healthly bundle of joy you have grown the last 9 months x x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know the feeling- there are no girls on my husbands fathers side of the family (he had 5 boys!) and I know his nan wants a girl. I'm kinda avoiding talking to her because it's annoying to me.. shes saying she WANTS a girl but KNOWs it will be a boy. So far as i am concerned there's a 50/50 chance and both are wonderful!
Plus, my due date is her (dead) husbands birthday and she goes on about how nice it would be if peanut was born on the 9th, which is a view I don't share. If I have contractions on the 9th I'm crossing my legs
I just try and forget about it amd leave em to thier sillyness |

I'm Currently Feeling: | What ever you do dont let your kid know what they ever said because when I was born apparently I was a disappointment to my gran who ignored me from then on in and I found out when I was a teen and it really hurt me apparently girls where no good (she was Russian) to carry on family name and all. She died an then I found that out, explained alot to me.
They should be happy with what ever they get. And I am sure they will be once they see it. |

| Hun, do you have to tell you MIL what you're having?
I only say as my mil really really wants a boy, girls make 'her skin crawl'- and yes she did actually say that to me! So i thought if i found out the gender, no matter what it is, i'm not telling her.
As it turns out babe didn't want us to know, but i keep telling her that i'm pretty much sure it's a girl to get her used to the idea.
I think once baby is actually here she and your mil will love them no matter what. xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hm, that's funny; I'm sure MY inlaws want a girl too!?!? weird... But my mil had two boys, so I kinda get it... Although why is it that its ALWAYS the mil that ruin EVERYTHING!?!? I'm sorry, I am TOTALLY against mil's at the mo'... Forgive me those of you who have decent ones! I find the world would be a MUCH nicer place if there were just fil's... Try not to worry about it hon. Once bubs is here, he/she will be loved and cooed over like mad and this will all be forgotten! |
