I'm Currently Feeling: | I've finally just bought most of what we'll need, and DH put the crib together... it's not all sorted, but it's getting there!
Part of me worries about the 'what if', but the odds are less than 1 percent, and if I dwell on stuff like that I'll go crazy!!! |

| We will be setting up the nursery in the second week of Oct. That will be the first chance we've really had to do the painting and furniture set up and what not.
We waited mostly for a convenient time, but also to save up all the cash for everything.
I don't think you're tempting fate by setting up before baby is born.
In fact, I plan to spend lots of time in the nursery just sitting and being happy and filling it full of joy before baby even gets here.
On the practical side, as Ema said, having everything out of boxes and put away lets you see that you have everything you need, and that your set-up is practical and all the other considerations, well before you have the tiny tyrant on your hands to distract you!
I think it will help me to be calm if I feel more organized with the nursery ready to go. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | my DH says it is still sooo early. i am thinking that we may get a lot of our nursery stuff from a baby shower his family wants to throw, so waiting on that to roll around might be a smart thing. i do wish we could work on it now though . but then again i am on bedrest so not much i can do or else ill worry myself! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | We dont have a nursary, the baby will be in our room for a couple of years until its old enough to go in one of the other rooms (depends what were having) but we have just sorted our bedroom out and made room for bubs and the many things bubs will need. |

I am thinking its better to spread things out as I dont have all the money just yet to do it and with xmas coming up and all.
Did i buy stuff to early? only got a changing bag but my mates are going mad and picking stuff up from everywhere. |

We get so much bad news in this world, I think people need an outlet for hope and happiness - exactly what a new little life represents. Let them celebrate!
It's really superstition that makes us hesitate, and it's an ugly superstition that makes us full of stress and anxiety. I think it's way healthier to let yourself be happy and full of anticipation. It's good for baby, too! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | we rent two rooms from a close family friend, and 1 room our bed room has our bed and the babys cot, (thats all that fits) and the other room has our two chests of draws, our desk, our two small peds and our three small pet tanks. its the only way it all fits. so Alice will be in with us until we are able to get our own place. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Well have decided to take a giant leap of faith today and start getting things ready. I still have tonnes of stuff to buy so its going to take me a while anyway. Am still slightly anxious about it being too early, but i guess even if something were to happen (please God, i hope it doesn't) it would be better to enjoy the pregnancy and deal with it IF it happens. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've just ordered all the bedding, nursery decor etc. We need to get someone to sort out the heating in there and there's ALOT of crap we need to move out of there. so I thought if I get going with buying things it will spur us on to get the annoying bits sorted. Plus my MIL has offered to do all the decorating but she wants to do it in October so I need to get a move on!
I'd go for it, it makes it all seem so real and is so exciting. Plus it means that you have extra time to make sure everything is just right and if you spend the money now you might have extra to put to something else later (if that makes sense?) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My DH bought the baby's first thing a few days ago - (a Cath Kidston cowboy changing bag from Ebay, even though we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet!) I've now started looking at websites (Ebay especially!) and popping into a few shops (M&P, Toys'R'Us, etc) just to get an idea of prices. LO is due at beginning of March so I'm hoping to get a few bargains in the January sales, but I'm not sure I can hold out that long! I think it's sensible to buy start buying things now as it helps spread the cost over the coming months rather than having to shell out a great wodge of money all in one go. |
