unsure

at first i was very sure i wanted to know the sex of my baby but now i am having second thoughts i know none of u can tell me how to make the desision but if u can tell me hy u did/didnt find out and if u had any regrets. i wanted 2 know so i can be prepared and buy things but as some one pointed out its a bit of a waste of time buying clothes any way because u dont know what size will fit the baby and things like that and now im thinking i might like to have the suprise at the birth. but im really unsure i think if i dont find out then i might come away from my scan regreting it and if i do find out it will be no suprise any more

i was completely yellow, then everyone was announcing what they were having, then i was in mothercare and thought all i can buy is white baby grows for it to wear. my oh wanted to know so did my daughter and the anticipation was too greart for me to hold onto for another 4 months, so tomorrow i'm finding out if lo lets us, i'm leaving the decision to him/her. plus i hate keep saying (it) to.
do what your heart says you got a few weeks to decide yet

we couldn't decide. one day we wanted to know the next we didnt. we decided that because we couldn't make r minds up we would wait and have a surprise. you can't really be disapointed if you dont find out (or thats the way i see it)
good luck in making your decision

i think there are tons of surprises still in store even if you do find out the sex;

- what/who LO looks like
- how big LO is
- how strong you are going to be during labor
- how fast/long labor lasts
- how supportive your birthing partner/DP/DH/OH will be
- how emotional the first meeting will be

I also beleive you will be just as surprised the day you find out and may have a little more time to celebrate LO gender than the day you give birth as you might be so overwhelmed at the time that you will not even notice what they say.

whatever decision you make is yours. regardless it will be a surprising little miracle!!

Me & my OH wanted to know as we were very exicted to find out, the way we seen it was that its going to be a big enough suprise on the day to actually see the baby, but everyone has their different reasons for finding out i suppose!

Hey Hun,

My partner and I have decided not to find out the sex of our LO.

Purely becasue we feel that in life you don't seem to get many nice surprises in life and feel that will be one

Best of Luck making your choice xxxx
