In the kind of amounts they put in soft drinks it isn't a problem.

We were taught a technique in one of my classes which is supposed to complete eliminate leg cramps during the night...

Before going to sleep, lie on your back and pump your feet up and down very hard around twenty times (flexing them back and forward). I don't suffer with them but apparently this is a sure fire way to avoid getting them.

The physio at the ante natal unit told me that eating a banana before bedtime will help.

thats so bizarre!!! I was just gonna type that too!!! I had leg cramps in my first preganancy and I used to wake up screaming!
I was told to try bananas, something to do with potassium....
I so know how painful this can be, I had forgotten about this...
