We've a moses basket my sister has passed on to us. It has the advantage that we can place it in the cot so that the baby gets used to the cot right away.

We had a moses basket for my son but i only used it for a few weeks as Kian was a wriggler and the moses basket used to move.

We've decided not to use the moses basket this time and have got a crib for our room instead, its really sturdy and will last much longer.

Really its what ever you prefer both have pros and cons.

We have just bought a basket !

We were going to have a crib but when we thought about it it is going to be much easier to move a basket around home in the day than a crib !

We've only got a cot so far, which will easily fit in with us so I don't think we're going to bother with a moses basket or a crib... We didn't really want to have to spend money on mattresses and bedding for a crib as well as for a cot. (but if money was no object I would go out and buy a crib tomorrow!)

We were thinking of going straight for a cot too. Financial reasons also. Is a crib or MB essential?

i'll have a moses basket i think but i'm having a big pram so might just leave the basket upstairs and use the pram for baby.
and if you go out anywhere always could take a basket with us
i put the basket inside the cot as rosie looked so tiny in the cot on her own lol
xx
