The healthy bp is deemed around 120/80 but many people have lower or higher averages than this. Your bp tends to be lower when pregnant, (thats why pregnant women get dizzy), especially until your 3rd tri.

If it was alot lower they would keep an eye on you and the same when higher. I was deemed as having high bp before pregnancy at 140/95 but not too bad, but since been preggers is now about 120/85.

Hope this helps a bit!! xx

My BP has always been pretty low - usually around 100/60 - it had gone up to 100/70 last time I saw MW - she said this was fine. As other people have said your blood pressure drops a little during pregnancy anyway! So your BP is fine at the moment - just make sure you keep up your blood sugar and protein levels and you should be fine.

Also, just to add to what the girls have said already, some people have naturally higher or lower blood pressures. They'll monitor you against the reading they've taken in other appointments so they know whats 'normal' for you

prehypertension is when your BP reads at 120/80 - 139/89
high blood pressure is when the reading is at 140/90 or higher.
