I thought you're supposed to have your bloods done at 16wks? Have you got a bloods appointment booked? If so, MW will listen to HB then. Which i'm sure you already know considering this is your second.
Try not to worry about movements. Easier said than done i know! I didn't feel kicks until after my 20wk scan. Literally the day after! Up until then, i'd just felt flutters.

Please try not to worry, like everyone else has stated. I just started to feel my LO and am just 18 weeks. Not feeling the baby can be caused by a number of things. If you have bad feelings, call your doc or talk to a nurse about it. If they feel concerned you will prob get an appointment to come in and maybe a scan (?). I know what it is like to be paranoid. I only get two scans. Had one at 8 weeks and my next one is at 21 weeks. Makes me nervous not being able to see the LO and just know that all is well...but feeling it move helps...it will happen, and when it does, let us all know

i felt my babe move a lot at about 15 weeks then i had a fall and i have not felt it move a lot since so i got the m/w to check me over and i heard the heartbeat
im now at nearly 20 weeks and i have not felt it move much since but when i spoke to my m/w she told me it could be due to it being facing back to front so i wouldnt worry to much .
but of course if you are worried then contact your m/w to get checked over

Hello all, I went to the midwife this morning to put my mind at rest.

Baby is fine thank god, she took my blood pressure, urine etc. checked the baby's heartbeat it was fine. We kept hearing a thudding sound on the Doppler while she was listening to the heartbeat, she said the baby is very active and that sound is the baby moving.

She thinks that the placentre maybe at the front so that is why I am not feeling any movement, we shall see where it is positioned on my scan which is on the 3rd of September. Thanks for all your support and I feel much better now. Kasey xxx

every baby is different sweetheart. LO might be facing inwards so all your organs are getting a good kicking. Aidan turns inwards all the time and even i worry but then all of a sudden bang and he makes sure everyone knows he is still there :higs:
