Sleep deprivation. HELP!

am starting to feel so exhausted, sleep being really disturbed by the little man! Has been going on for two weeks now but last night was the worst ever! Managed to get to sleep at 11.00 despite being kicked. Woke up at 3.00, kicking, punching and wriggling. Got to sleep at 4.00. Woke up at 5.00, double punches and what felt like poking. Got to sleep at 6.30. Woke up at 7.30 with the hardest kicks ever: feels like he was using surface of bed to kind of propell himself, the two footed springing was making my whole body move! Got up eventually, grumpy and tired. Anyone else having this? Any tips on sleeping positions or how to make baby go to sleep? I suppose its good practice for when baby arrives but was really looking forward to some lie-ins! Rant over! Humpff.

I used to be kept up all night by Grace kicking the hell out of me. Mainly in 3rd tri though, I hate to say it but it gets worse! Wait till LO's born, then you'll get even less sleep! But at least you'll be a bit more comfortable. Hope he starts behaving for you so you can get some sleep!

lol my LO seems to be most active in the evenings and is still active when I try to go to bed too! And she always likes to face my left side so thats the one that always gets the brunt of the kicks and punches haha.

Im sorry to say but it gets alot worse. Im living off a few hours sleep(3-5) a night MAX! and still working 10-12 hours day. My body starting to adjust now but im nearly always tired. Not much can suggest because as you get bigger you will get more and more uncomfy and the movements get stronger and stronger and you can feel every little moverment.

The best suggestion is sleep when you can. Even if that teatime or if you just been up for a hour and feel you want to sleep and have time too then do! On the weekends im spending alot of time napping even if it only 30 mins here and there. It helps soooo much. After about 30 mins i get uncomfy so get up and once i feel better and tired i go back.

Getting up to toilet now if just part of the nights sleep. Im up about 4-6 times a night and i do it now without even thinking
