Irritable uterus?

Has anyone else heard of or got an Irritable uterus?

I went for a midwife appt today, and told her that I keep getting feelings like my bump goes a bit 'tight' - she said it is an Irritable uterus, caused by stress (7 months ago, I had a little boy who was Stillborn & so I'm worrying over the smallest things now).

I just wondered if anyone else has this....she said it was nothing to worry about, but I could just do with an extra bit of reassurance

On the bright side, I got to hear little one's heartbeat which was lovely &
strong....and the little monkey kicked the doppler twice!!!

Ive heard of it but im not too sure exactley what it is ... have a scoot around the forum im sure there are a few other threads about it!!

hya hun, yeah i had it, its sometimes painfull and at first i thought id was braxton hicks... MW said the same as yours...
(must be a coincidence as we're both welsh and both called Lisa

Wonder if I'll end up having a girl too?!?!

Hiya, I've been getting a tight tummy on and off.... put it down to braxton hicks.... although was worried it was early to get those. EEEek. Note to self, must not stress or worry!
