I had my 20 week scan yesterday and we found out that we are having a little man, I had thought it was a boy all the along but confirmed now so let the buying commence!!
Then on way back form scan got a call from my friend who was overdue and she was in labour- so rushed round to look after her 2 boys. She was having a homebirth and by god did she make it look easy. Just zoned out during contractions- that i was timing (chief midwifey!) and just made train blowing noises whilst pushing. Whole thing lasted 5 hours start to finish and Cameron Matthew Abblitt was born weighing 8lb 6oz (Matthew after my husband) So pleased for them although big reality check seeing a real baby that she had just pushed put and knowing I have to do that in 20 weeks aghhh!! | | | | Status: Offline
