No movement

Sorry about the posts I am having a worrying day today. I still have not had any movements and I am pretty sure I should have had something now. I just looked on my ticker and it said that it should be wriggling lots at night. I have nothing. Please tell me this is nothing to worry about and other people have not felt there little one.

I was down the hospital ALOT of times when I was pregnant because I had a lazy baby. She is still a lazy baby now!

I'd go to the hospital and get checked.

I would go to the hospital, just to check everything is ok. I didn't feel anything from my daughter till 22 - 23 weeks. However i did get it checked out, they'll be more than happy to set your mind at rest at the hospital.

I have a doppler and can hear the heart beating but keep thinking what if it is my own heart beat i listened to mine and mine was a lot slower. I just cannot stop worrying, I have worried every day since the begining of my pregnancy and just want everything to be fine. I feel I am driving myself mad. I have a scan tomorrow so hopefully that will put my mind at rest but that is making me feel sick as what is something is wrong.

People seem to feel movements at allsorts of different times and those who feel early often say they come and go anyway. Those who have an anterior placenta say that stops them feeling anything for ages too. Don't worry. you have your doppler and your LO's HB is twice as fast yours at least so you can be sure who it belongs to. Ring your MW and ask for advice to put your mind at rest.

Ahhh hun like others have said everyone is different and feel LO at different stages, i think it depends on how big you are too, if the LO got more room to move you might not feel it till later either. At least you got your scan tomorrow and talk it through at the hospital with them if you're still worried. They may let you see someone too. Good luck.xx

Hi there, thankfully your scan's tomorrow so you can mention it then.
I was worried in the last couple of days as I've been feeling 'flutters' then for over two days I felt no flutters and was very worried. I posted on here and everyone was so reassuring and they were right!

I then ate some really really chocolatey ice cream and felt bubs a few mins later. I am not saying this will work, but it just shows sometimes they are being lazy/ turned another way.

Do you know what your placenta's like yet, whether it's at the front or back? Cos mine is at the front and that can sometimes mask movement.

I am sure everything is fine and you'll have a lovely scan tomorrow xxx

Aw, try not to worry to much. If you can hear the HB then I'm sure everything's fine with LO. Not everyone feels their baby until later on. You probably have, but you don't realise it's baby. If you're really concerned, ask the sonographer when you go for your scan tommorrow if everything's alright. That might re-assure you a little. Good luck with the scan.
