Back pain - Right side

Ladies your advice is required!
I've a mild dull ache in my back, lower righthand side! I've had it on and off for a few days!
I've been drinking more water today then usual, as did wonder if i;ve a water infection, but then i doesnt hurt when i wee sorry TMI and my left side doesnt ache!
Any ideas what this is, could it be growing pains???

I've managed to get a doctors appointment for next monday, but thats still a while away!

thanks C

Well it won't be kidney pain if it's lower back so that's good! Kidneys hurt right up to the rib cage. Sounds like the usual pregnancy aches and pains to me. Perhaps you're drinking more water because it's hotter or you're working harder maybe?

You're welcome. I had a kidney infection when I was 18 and believe me you know about it when you've got it!

Hope you feel better soon.

You might try walking for short periods of time throughout the day. I noticed when I was working full time that I had a great deal more back pain (always on my right side--must have been the way I sat) if I didn't take 3-4 walks (not long walks just 5-10 minutes).
