I am not sure what you mean by a heart scan - do you mean an echocardiogram or an electrocardiogram? Both of those would be fine - like having an ultrasound.
MRIs are fine after the first trimester, I believe.
Otherwise, I'm not sure.
If you know the name of your test, try googling that with pregnancy and safety and see what comes up?

You can have any scan done while you're pregnant as long as you'll willing to accept the risks. Even x-rays are not recommended while pregnant.
However, a CT scan should not be done whilst pregnant. After my accident I presented in trauma with a broken back and internal bleeding and they still refused to CT scan me, and instead did lots of x-rays and kept me on hourly observations to make sure that my condition stayed stable.
At the end of the day, they need to weigh the risks. If I had major bleeding, I would have been scanned otherwise not doing so could have killed me. However, as I was stable there was a greater risk to my baby by scanning me than leaving me under observation.
Does that make sense?
